For my clients I recommend MyFitnessPal, I use the premium version myself but the free version has plenty of features to make great progress.

From strength training to cardio and yoga, these apps offer a variety of exercises tailored to your preferences and fitness level.

If you are very new to the fitness space it is worth it to get professional coaching at a local gym or online. Proper form is very important to any workout regiment so jumping in and just trying to follow a youtube video may not be the best idea for those who haven’t had any formal lessons.

4. Body Weight Scale:

My scale wasn’t cheap but it automatically plugs in my readings into my iphone which then goes into apple health so I have a log of my body weight - spanning years. Combined with my record of nutrition, and workout record through my apps I can look back and see exactly what I was eating and doing to get those numbers on the scale.
